The AOIA Digital Health Innovation (DHI) Steering Committee serves to shape how digital technologies will enhance—rather than replace—osteopathic principles. Self-nominations are open from March 31 to April 25. To nominate yourself, use the AOIA’s nomination form.
As a DHI Steering Committee member, you will:
- Help ensure digital innovations support hands-on care while expanding access to osteopathic medicine.
- Influence the development of ethical artificial intelligence (AI) guidelines and standardized competencies that will prepare the next generation of osteopathic physicians to leverage digital tools while maintaining distinctively osteopathic care.
- Help create a collaborative ecosystem where digital innovations, education and policy work together to advance osteopathic medicine.
- Preserve our core principles of whole-person, hands-on care.
Ideal candidates should demonstrate expertise across digital health technologies (therapeutics, telehealth, AI, clinical informatics), have leadership experience in health care innovation and be able to share past success in stakeholder engagement and change management.
Nomination submissions are due Friday, April 25, 2025.
